if i wanted to get into Harvard Law School how high should my S.A.T scores supposed to be in order to get in.

  1. The previous answer hit the nail on the head in answering your specific question: your SAT scores are about completely irrelevant to the HLS admission process.

    Just to clarify a few things though:

    You would go to law school (Harvard or any other US law school) after completing your undergraduate degree, and getting a BA or a BS. You would not normally already have a Juris Doctor, Master of Laws or Doctor of Juridical Science degree *before* going to law school ... those degrees are given out by law schools.

    HLS admists about 540-560 students a year. It gets six or seven thousand applications.


  2. Applications to Harvard Law School are submitted after you have completed formal college education and attained a Juris Doctor, Master of Law, or Doctor of Juridical Science degree elsewhere. Therefore, your SAT score is almost irrelevant. Your transcripts from your previous university and application to Harvard Law School are what might grant you admission to the prestigious program. Only 1,900 students attend Harvard Law School each year. Good luck!
