How high can I tune my Snare Drum

I have a REMO Coated Powerstroke 3 and it feels tight but I don't know much about snare tuning. Its at a F below middle C right now but I don't know if it will snap if I tune it any higher. Thx for the help!!

You have to go by how the drum feels and sounds. Some drummers like the feel of a very tight batter head, others like it softer.  Tuning it too high will 'choke' the sound of the drum, causing the drum to lose its natural resonance. If you are worried about splitting the head, it's probably too tight already.
