  1. Our own government is responsible for these ridiculous prices as they do not allow the oil companies to do new exploration or open up new oil fields. The US has 10 times more oil then any country in the world. Why won't our government drill or explore more? They let the environmental wackos dictate what we should do and what we shouldn't do.

It is so absurd to import oil from across the world, think about it. How much pollution are the ships creating delivering this oil to us from the other side of the world.  Have you ever seen the exhaust from a ship.

Now a days we have very strict rules for drilling to prevent any spills etc. and if we do have a spill the US are experts in being able to clean it up. Believe me I'm all for cleaner air and water and yes keep those rules in place and yes by all means lets develop alternate fuel sources but for God sake, don't bring the US economy in to a depression because someone might kill a fish or a toad in the process of drilling for more Oil.

So now that I vented, the answer to your question is the gas prices will keep going up unless we start drilling on our on soil. The demand for oil is so high around the world that the oil companies can't provide it quick enough, there for they can ask as much as they want as they will always be able to sell it to other nations.

I see no end in sight, by the end of this Summer I would say a average price for regular will be $5 per gallon this Summer and next summer $6 and I'm thinking about a $1 more each year until our government decides to do something about it!!!

    Hope this helps.

  2. Recent projections are showing 6 dollars a gallon by the end of summer

  3. I would have to say $5.60 by next summer. And gass will go up higher up to the election. Bush has said nothing about how he is planning to lower gas prices. I guess because he dose not care nor wants to care.

  4. Well,it looks like a lot of stuff is going high and costs more than before.  It depends on which gas station you're going.

Yes,they are all expensive.  But some are $3.00 and some gas stations are about $4.00 to $5.00!
