  1. Well I would have any degree over normal checked out because I got an infection from my surgery. How is your wound area is it red or leaking any ooze.mine was bad don't wait mine was red and leaking.I waited too long too call.It was bad.Get well soon.

  2. My daughter just had surgery and I was told 101 or higher..a low grade temp after surgery is often normal. But if it starts to spike upwards, that is not a good sign.

  3. When i had my surgery i had a fever up to 109.... my mom was scared to leave my side the whole night........but i was ok after they gave me tylenol for the fever.. o btw i had a 25 lb tumor removed. If you are out of the hospital and just had a surgery and have fever.....go to the e.r....right away if its more than 101 degrees go!!!!!

  4. a fever isn't a disease- it is a signal for a disease. if you have a high fever, that means you have an infection. have you checked the incision site to see if it looks infected, or does it feel hot to the touch? if it looks fairly normal, i would take 2 tylenol, and keep track of the temp. -if it gets to 104, that's serious. take the tylenol every 4 or 6 hours, and if you are still feverish tomorrow, phone the doctor. you have to find out what is causing the fever-in case the wound is infected.
