How highly do you rate James Hook?

Question

I think he is a superb player for his age and will go on to greater things in future.His kicking is class,he can break the line with his speed and his amazing sidestepping and dummy's.Also his defense is good and so is his tactical kicking.

Finnaly,we have a skilled fly half for Wales who is consistent.

Also I think Alun Wyn-Jones is another rising star of this current Welsh side at only 21.

yes i do agree that they are both world class rugby players and will be good in the future but i think james hook is rated 9/10 which is awesome for his age and i think in the future he will beat neil jenins record.

Hook is pure class, and I think this is his time to shine. You wait come the end of the RWC although wales can't realistically win (although it pains me to say it) the highlights will be full of Hook breaking defensive lines and creating space for the centres.

My only worry is that Jenkins will push him in to the centre when Jones is fit.

I think James Hook is a good player and has the potential to be one of the best, but as he's from Wales, a lot of pressure is being put on him as it's really the only sport in Wales and calls for stephen jones to be dropped are being thrown out. I thik he shouldn't be rushed as he has a bit to learn and would prefer to see him out of the limelight, after all we don't want another Gavin do we?
