to swim in a pool?

If the weather outside is 83 degrees f, is that warm enough to swim in?

It depends more on the water temperature than the air temperature. If the water is heated, you can swim when the air temp is even below 30 -- although you need to watch for ice patches on the deck!

If the air temp is hot you can tolerate cooler water temps. Personally at 83 degrees I would want the water temp to be 75 - 80.

Yes. It is warm enough for when u come out of the pool and sit around in a wet bathing suit.
