Happy Spring!

Warm weather is finally here and the children and I have been busy talking about things that grow.

Last week, we planted flowers and made a chart identifying which things grow and which do not. We used items from nature to practice counting, made crafts and played games.

This week we are making a growth chart to measure how tall our children has gotten.

We are also going to have a science experiment. We will be learning about how plants drink water, and how we need water to grow as well.

We will have a visitor from a pet store and he will be talking to us about how our pets grow and what we can do to help them grow healthy and strong.

  1. is this to parents? It sounds good to me! Put name at bottom.

  2. I would reword the sentence starting with, "This week we are making a growth chart..." to end with "...to measure the height of our children."

Or at the very least, replace "has gotten." with "have become."

Sounds like some fun lessons are heading your way!

Also, (I agree with the comment before me) put your name at the bottom.  You could list the phone number under your name instead of putting it in the sentence above and just say "...please feel free to contact me."

  3. Sounds great! Your name is in the right place, but you might want to check your grammar and punctuation in the following places:

....growth chart to measure how tall our children (have grown).

.....how plants drink water (no comma) and how we need...

(Later in the week,) we will have a visitor....

.....contact me at (no colon) 555.....

    (Sincerely,)
