How humid is too humid ?

Question

im going to the boardwalk tonight and im straitening my hair it says its going to be around 58%-60% humid tonight and i have wavy, slightly frizzy hair that straightens well, should i bother or is that to humid.

where i used to live it was 80 on avg but colder where i live now its around 40-60

you mean should u bother to straighten it ? sure if you want i dont think humidity makes that much of a diffrance

my girlfriend is from idaho where it usually never gets above 20% humidity. in boise idaho.  she moved to new york and here it is 60% humidity when it is low, and 90 to 100% most of the time.  and she always says it messes up her hair.  so i dont think 60 % will mess it up too bad but anything higher is probably pretty bad.  

i just asked my girlfriend and she said that if its like above 80 its usually bad so 60 should be pretty good

you can either put alot of hair spray in it or let it be natural.... 60% humidity is not to bad but your hair will frizz and curl if you do have wavy hair and you put no products in it. Next option is to put it up in a bun after it is straighten and take it down when you get into a vehicle or resturant ..... but if you going to be outside just put frizzy product in it and let it be natural.

That's pretty humid but the worst humidity is 100% and it's not raining!
