How i'know password for my yahoogroups id, but my yahoogroups id not yahoo mail?

i'm join with yahoogroups (astrindosemesta) but when i was joined, i use another id (like x*x@x*x.com ) not x*[e-mail]. now, i'must change my email addres (for i receive email from yahoogroups).and now i don't know how i log in in that yahoogroups.

you will need to know the pass word of the Yahoo account to which you joined a group if you have one- since you're already a member- if you do not have a Yahoo account linked to the e-mail, then you're a mail only member and you cant edit or add an e-mail to that group, you will have to rejoin the group with the new e-mail address.

go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address.

then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes

You have discovered the oddity of yahoogroups. You do not need a yahoo ID (and thus a yahoo email address) to join a yahoogroup. You can send and receive email with the yahoogroup.  However, in order to log into the yahoogroup's site you must have a yahoo ID. You can use your non-yahoo address if you want but you always must have a yahoo addess to attach this to. Follow the instructions at:
