1. Nike Volleyball Camps go around the country with some of the top coaches.

There are also a lot of state college and high school volleyball camps.

But I recommend the Nike Camp. They're tough, but it's totally worth it.

  2. If you love it...stick with it...to start, get in shape so your ready to bend in a million different directions...I liked that answer...."play with yourself by hitting against a wall"...count how long you can go....bump, set, and spike....when you get better, increase the space between you and the wall. :) Control is a huge thing...if you can control where and how you bump, set, or spike a ball, your on your way!! Have a blast!!!

  3. well Make sure that you work on running and such. I know when I tried out serving the ball far was like 3/4 of the whole thing so make sure you can serve good. :-)

  4. train

ask your trainer what is wrong with the approach and try to fix it

    practice

    be aggressive

and let them know that u want to be on the team

  5. u just got to put ur mind to it...i started playing volleyball at the age of about 5 kuz my mom use to be a volleyball coach and now im 12 and ppl are tellin me im gonna go pro...u just got to believe in urself and stay confident and concentrate

  6. go to teeh gym and workout

  7. Try to do these exercises until then...

    Daily workout schedule

    10:00am- 15 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, 25 leg-ups, weight lifts- 5 and 10 lb dumbbells

    2:00pm- 10push-ups, 25sit-ups, 30 leg-ups

    7:45pm-15 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, 25 leg-ups, weight lifts- 5 and 10 lb dumbbells

    10:30pm-10 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, 30 leg-ups

Doing these exercises Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for 3 months, will result in huge weight loss. For those of you that do not need to lose weight, this will result a gain in abs, arms and leg muscles. If you’re really outgoing (and don’t have access to weight machines), buy some weights and put them in a backpack. Wear the backpack full of weights while you’re doing pushups. Or just have somebody get on your back while doing them. Also, be sure to eat healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, ect... Proper nutrition is important while doing workouts. Eating extra healthy foods during workouts will help give a boost for you body.

    They should help alot.

  8. TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. . .=]

  9. I would Say that it depends on what position that you want to play. If you r are like me i am a middle blocker and hitter so most of my practice is in the middle. But you should also learn to play all the other positions. To learn how to pass i go outside and pass the ball to the wall because it is always going to come back. And it helps you be able to move faster. Also to help you to bend you knees you can do squats or act like you are sitting in a chair on the wall. If you want to learn how to hit then what i would do is start lifting a little weights then build up to stronger ones. But you should practice your jumping. Me i jump 1000 times everyday with my jump rope. That helps you to stay on ur toes. And if you hit hard like me practice hitting down instead of out. To block you need to practice you timing again jump rope helps with that

  10. Better passers: Surround the volleyball with your body and make sure to keep your arms in the proper position, most players your age are crazy arm swingers, which leads to an inability to contact the ball in the same spot. Use your body and legs to push the ball to your target instead of using your arms to direct.

Setter: use your legs to push the ball out, allot of setters think it's all in the hands which is not true.

Hitters: Keep the ball in front of you and make sure to hit all the sets giving, a setter will stop setting you fast if you don't try to hit there sets

Serving: the power comes from the legs. the accuracy comes from the arm motions. Don't over swing the arms... the ball does not need to be hit with extreme power.

Finally: the most important part of playing any sport is having confidence. If I or anyone else can do it so can you, and you need to believe that. Everyone messes up, players who keep thinking about their mistakes make more.

    Good Luck at your tryouts!!

  11. practice with friends

  12. Work on the basics first. learn how to move your feet. && make sure you know all of the code words before try outs or you will look stupid

  13. I SAY THAT U PRACTICE A LOT.

    BECAUSE PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT....

    I PRACTICE EVERYDAY ...

AND I AM THE BEST PLAYER IN MY TEAM...

I LOVE VOLLEYBALL. U HAVE TO REALLY LOVE IT TO PLAY GOOD AND PLAY FROM THE HEART. AND DON'T THINK THAT U CAN'T DO IT...

THINK ALWAYS OF LOVING THE SPORT....

                HOPE IT HELPED...

  14. yes,

    I am in volleyball and....

First define your not so good area in volleyball, serves, bumps, spikes, and sets. well and then work on the one. but work on them all though and make sure you go to like the local gym and ask someone who knows volleyball really well like a volleyball coach and ask them if you are doing the right things. and if so keep working on your mad volleyball skills. and also are you sure you want to do volleyball becuase there are a bunch of other sports but be open and try them all. thank you

  15. stand in front of a wall and play with yourself. over and over and over again.
