  1. You can go to this site and see if you can calculate your horsepower.

    Since the rpms will vary with speed, your horsepower will vary as well, so you need a dyno to see what your hp is in each gear.

  2. Horse power is a ratio.  To find it simply use the following prosses:

    first you need a horse and a pair of latex gloves-

    Next grab the horses balls and allow it to kick.  Then grab the engines balls (if it has any) and compare.  If the engine did not kick, it's a pile of c**p, like the horse pobably just let out.

    Used this process on the farm

    You need to go to a chassis dyno, or dynamometer.
