How i can add someone in to my msn for chatting

when you are logged into msn, click on the little blue/green guy that has a plus sign on it....it's near the top of the gadget. Then type in dudes address as you did above. Then click on add at the bottom of the pop up that came up when you clicked on the little dude with the plus. Then you have added him/her!!
