How i can buy travelers check from Lebanon or Syria or Iraq and what is the limit for each person?

Lebanon:

Travellers cheques in US dollars are accepted at major exchange offices. Movement of currency in and out of the country and all exchange transactions are completely free of any kind of control.

Syria:

Travellers cheques are not accepted in most banks, and those that do require lengthy and complicated processes. No restriction of amount in local or foreign currency.

In case you want to buy TCs for Lebanon you have to buy/order them at your bank or go to the nearest American Express or Thomas Cook Travel Agency. Not advised for Syria.

Iraq - Most Hotels and shops will accept only cash in USD or New Iraqi Dinar, no TCs.

Beside Iraq use credit cards to pay a hotel or shopping, in Iraq get cash out of an ATM maschine. Do not use credit cards in stores!
