   You can not really just change the number of a mobile device. Instead, you have to add the new device then delete the old one, even if it's the same phone just a new phone number.

   Go to http://sites.mobile.yahoo.com/wireless/m... Once there you will need to click the "Add Alerts Device" link under the "MY MOBILE ALERTS" section. Select the proper options on the next page then click the "Continue to Step 2" button.

   On the next page you will enter the new phone number, choose the name of your wireless carrier and the name of your phone's manufacturer then click the "Continue to Step 3" button.

   On the next page you will choose your phone model, or choose "My phone is not listed" if your exact device is not shown then click the "Continue to Step 4" button.

    A confirmation code will be sent to your phone. Enter this code in the appropriate place then click the "Confirm" button.
