  1. Normally the fuse for the compass light is also the fuse for the navigation lights.


  2. Most compasses don't need a fuse- they're magnetic.   Unless you have a gyro-compass in which case you'll need someone to reset it for you if it needs a new fuse.

  3. In most small boats the fuse is in the switch box (where the switch or button for the compass is) and will be broken and can char the glass black so they are not normally hard to spot.
