  1. No such thing in the US.  Fellowships are done after residency, and are in subspecialty areas, like pediatric anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesia, pain management, etc.

    If you're looking for a residency position, the best bet is to contact the specific program that you are interested in.
