  1. die, thats what he did.

  2. 1. Buy the book, "The Art of Expressing the Human Body"

    2.  If your willing to get results like Bruce Lee, you must be able to put in the time to train like Bruce.

So many people want to fight like and mimic Bruce's movemnts, but no one wants to train like Bruce.

  3. You should try plyometrics.

    1. Plyometrics is a type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements, and improve the functions of the nervous system, generally for the purpose of improving performance in a specific sport.

    2. Plyometric movements, in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence, use the strength, elasticity and innervation of muscle and surrounding tissues to jump higher, run faster, throw farther, or hit harder, depending on the desired training goal. Its where speed and power meet

  4. I'd suggest changing your SN if you want some serious answers

  5. If you need more speed try working your muscles in high repetition low weight sets. Instead of heavy weight low reps which only serve to build muscle mass.

More power in kicks will come from speed rather than strength.

White athletes are not born with fast muscle twitch like blacks and asians are. You can't train to develop it, you are born with it.

  6. do some running or jogging.

    or maybe some karate.

  7. Bruce Lee did not do special effects.  When his movies were made, the effects were so crude they would be obvious.  He was the real deal.

You have to be blessed with some natural talent, work as hard as he did, and learn the different aspects of speed.

I suggest reading "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do" by Bruce Lee.

  8. read his book the tao of jeet kune do and practice kicking everyday there are a lot of workouts that can be done like meditation or just kicking a lot. also no weight squats and no weight jump squats may help bruce lee did

a lot of running groin streches butterfly streches sit ups leg raises high kicking squat frogkick rising on toes deadlift quartersquats and weightlifting soooooo yea...... he was good and he did a lot of other things to

  9. Steroids. Joking. lots and lots of practise, and more practise. Oh, and.... a bit more practise.

  10. Bruce lee was a marshal arts movie star right?

who says HE'S that fast and powerful?

Probably 'movie magic' if I'm right and he is out of movies, Like wire's and stuff.

  11. 1. practice

    2. practice

    3. practice

    4. practice

    5. Practice

    6. PRACTICE!

  12. When I started learning and practicing Kong fu, my master used to tell me that in Kong fu you have to develop three elements:

    Flexibility then Power than speed.

    1. To improve your flexibility, you got to know the trainings that will improve each section of your body, and be careful while you are training.

    2. To improver your power, it’s not a hard to know how if you know that way to do the practice. Like for example:

Pushups standing, pushups while a weight on your back

And other trainings that improve your power.

    3. To improve your speed, you got to do more numbers. For example, kick at least 40 kicks a day. After two weeks, the 40 kicks will be like a piece of cake, then double the number of kicks. And so on.

The last thing to focus on, is the speed after you master the flexibility and power.

    Good luck

    : )

  13. If you want speed and power like Bruce Lee then I suggest you follow Bruce Lee's regimen.

Buy 'The Art of Expressing the Human Body' by John Little. Drawing on Lee's own notes, letters, diaries and training logs, bodybuilding expert John Little presents the full extent of Lee's unique training methods including nutrition, aerobics, isometrics, stretching and weight training.

  14. Do the Method of mussle confussion thats when u train a new body part every day.

  15. The person who recommended plyometrics is correct. Go to youtube and do a search for videos on the subject. There are many good ones. Don't try to do this kind of exercise based upon reading a description of how to do the exercises on Y!A. You need to see them being done by somebody correctly. It's not a bad idea to hire a trainer who is familiar with plyo training for at least one lesson. If you are fairly new to training, or currently trying to lose weight, you might want to hold off on them for awhile and focus more directly on doing a lot of cardio and some basic resistance workouts. But if you are an experienced practitioner looking to take it up a notch, they are definitely the way to go.

You can get books that are compilations of Bruce Lee's training journals and notes on fitness for martial arts. There was also a Muscle and Fitness Magazine article a few months ago that discussed his training philosophy and practices, and it included an example of one of his weight workouts. Basically you should train like him.
