  1. you don't generaly jump, you just move when the ball is coming at you.

  5. i jump over something and make it higher each day it really helped if you do it every day.

  6. Jumping rope, squats, running, squats with weights!

  7. Jumping rope is a great exercise,

    you should also do a lot of stretching, squats, and maybe even lifting weights with your legs.

    Also, practice makes perfect. Do incremental training. Start jumping to 6 feet up, then 6.5, 7, 7.5…and so on.

    Jumping high takes a lot of skill too, not just muscle and flexibility. You have to be able to time it properly and maximize your release strength...

    Also, maybe consider buying lighter shoes...

    1.) Jump rope

    2.) Box jumps (find a stable box or chair, and jump onto it. Then as you're on it, immediately jump off of it). Do this 15 times to complete a set. Do about 4-5 sets a day. And rest about a minute between sets.

    3.) Knee jumps (basically what you do is bring your knees close to your chest by jumping as high as you can). Do this 20 times to complete a set and 2 sets a day. Rest for 2 minutes between sets.

    Try Squats..were on your leg strength

  8. ever heard of plyometrics?

    they are shoes deigned so your heel cannot touch the ground..  you get yourself a pair of these "strength shoes" and do some simple workouts youll increase your vertical in no time
