I m french, if I had a tip to give you is to try to make exchange lesson: I mean you could ask to a french student to talk with you in French, in exchange you could give him some tips and lessons in english.

You should just listen. Ask people to help you practice your French. Find little children to speak with, since they probably know just as much as you do. Just listen to every one, and always ask questions.
