at the bottom of every groups homepage is

Post message: [e-mail]

depending on group settings, you'd want to send it to that address, if posting off the group, pay attention to the address in the drop down box- there are 3 choices, be sure that group address is the choice

If you are using Yahoo Messenger, and you want to send IMs to your group, right click at your group heading, select "Send Instant Message to all in Group".  Type your message and click "Send"

u can create a mail group that has the mail ids of all the recipient. when u send any mail to that group address everybody who has their mail ids in that group will receive that mail. there is an option in all the mailing software where u can create a mail group.
