s***w acetone goo gone is the stuff. that has nothing 2 do w/ pool but believe me goo gones what u need

If it's on glass you can use mineral oil or rubbing alcohol.

Goo Gone is great stuff. You can get it in the grocery stores. It's kinda oily but it melts glue really well. Goof Off is good, too, but it damages most plastic surfaces and can burn the skin.  I think you can get it at  Lowes or Home Depot.

You can use peanut butter. The oils will get rid of the glue
