  1. The are numerous Amtrak trains that travel from Penn Station in Manhattan to Albany.

  2. go to Penn Station in manhattan, then take one of these trains to Albany; Empire service, which is the most frequent train, running every hour, Ethan Allan Express, Vermonter, the Adirondack, or the Lake Shore Limited (most expensive).  my suggestion is to take an Empire Service train to Albany.  It makes 3 stops along the way, and runs at about 85 miles an hour for most of the trip. i hope this has been helpful.  good luck in your travels.

  3. Go to Penn Station. Then, Amtrac.

    Here's their web site.

  4. http://www.trips123.com/trip_planner/def...  Go to this website.  Fill in the boxes for your departure and destination address and the date and time you want to go there.

The website will produce routes for you to select from.
