Got parts for a new comp, couple parts got from parents work. My dad is a computer system manager. So knows all bout comps and such, hot to fix (etc everything) except....the most important....Graphic cards....Cause he dont need them. Well im trying to find out what slots the motherboard has. If there is any website that tells me. Think its got PCIE for the graphics. Anyway 2nd question. What graphics card should i get, i want to be able to play all games pretty much, and it must have atleast 2xDVI (for both my screens), im aiming for 250-350 AUS$. been looking at a couple. Im pretty sure the motherboard is PCIE... if theres anywebsite that can tell u how to check thatll be great. Thanks

  1. Well, if you are not sure about the slots of your motherboard, check out this link to see what are the name of those slots.

If you want to, get the motherboard model and search it on the net. It will display the motherboard features and what graphic card it is supported.

    good luck!

  2. IF THE MOTHERBOARD'S LESS THsorry caps lock less than 4 years old then its probably pci-e

    to find out run

    or

best card in that price range available in australia is the 4850 radeon. You can get them for about $250-$280 on ebay.com.au.

next closest (if you're an nvidia fan) is the 9800gtx, but, it costs a lot more and is not as quick as the 4850

if you can stretch to $340-ish the 4870 is an absolute beast, and a great buy.
