I really wanna study abroad but it seems like my brother really oppose with my decision. He thinks that my propose for studying abroad is to take a trip or just having fun. He looks eager to blame at me and warn me that I shouldn't spend alot of money on learning. He said I can earn lots of money just fromm studying in thailand. but you know in the other hand I think that learning is such a neccessary thing especially English is an important thing. since i was a child i have been thinking about working abroad. perhaps my ambition is such a silly idea. so I want your advice. What should i do to deal with my brother and tell him a good reason. I'm 15 years old <male> I from Thailand and want to study abroad in US to improve my Eng skill. should i go now or wait till university. But I prefer to go now so that I can prepare for a further learning program.

  1. Just finish school with good grades, then apply to Universities in England or the U.S. I am pretty sure by the way that Uni tuition fees in England are alot less than the States. I think you should definately study abroad, it will open alot of doors for you and as you say your English will improve alot.

  2. Do you live with your older brother? Your parent's should have the say in it. But anyways refer them to this website: http://www.afsthailand.org/tha_th/home

It should give you all the information.

  3. What's it got to do with your brother? It's your life you should do what you think is best. Studying abroad would be very useful and give you lots of skills and knowledge.

Your ambition is not silly. It is very important and useful.
