  1. Predicted a levels results but at the end of the day the only thing that is truely important are your actual results, they do check you know :)

  2. I would say a combination of both. :)

By the way, if you fail to use correct punctuation, spelling and not speaking in text language ("u" instead of "you") will make you seems less intelligent in the eyes of the interviewer.

  3. First of all, if you are aiming for Cambridge or Oxford, you should have at least 6 A* at GCSE and then a minimum of 3As at AS level.

Remember, that each place at Oxbridge is oversubscribed by about 11 places to each available placement.

UCAS points are extremely important, after all, they're what get you into a university.

  4. GCSE Maths and English (and Science if you are applying for teaching or nursing) are important - you need at least a C in them. But it is the predicted A Levels that count, but if you don'y get them the uni may decide to reject you. Don't worry though, just work hard and try your best.

  5. I think they're kind of as important if not more because they show what have already achieved and your potential.

  6. most GSCEs don't really mean anything after you've used them to get into college

university's do care about maths and english though. you should have a C in both

  7. Predicted A levels are much more important, but some universities will be put off if you have a bad GCSE result in a subject that they'd want- usually Maths and English, but also other grades depending on specific courses.

  8. Predicted A level results, and AS results of course. For some courses they'll require you have a certain grade in a subject at GCSE but it will specify that in the entry requirement either on UCAS or on the university's website.
