How important are high school senior grades to colleges?

I heard that your sophmore and junior grades were most important. I have an average GPA of around 3.4 my sopmore year, over 4.0 junior year and plan to do just as well my senior year. Will they count for just as much?

With good SAT scores, would this be enough to get into schools such as UCLA, CSU, or Cal Poly?

The first half of your senior year is important.

Apply to the schools. You have nothing to loose other than the application fees./

Go to collegeboard.com and compare yourself to the accepted students.  Call the admissions counselors and ask.  Why did you not do that on your own?

She said it's not a big deal.. I don't know though.
