How important is Chris Judd to W.C?

Imagine the same W.C team (incl Cousins) and take out Judd.

I reckon he makes a h**l of a difference to the team. He's a great player. However I don't think the eagles will be at the bottom without him. Once the players learn to play without him then they should be ok. They work for each other off the ball to make space for Judd so if they do that for Cousins and Kerr and Priddis and Cox thy should be alright. But Judd is full good!!

I don't like how all the other teams are saying theyll pay millions for him, I mean the teams struggling are expecting Judd to save the day, but one player won't make a difference. The eagles use him well, they make space for him and give him the chance to dominate like he does. Hopefully Judd will be loyal and stay with WC.

He is pretty important becuase he plays on the ing or in centre and he gets the ball a fair bit and he can kick and handball a fair distance and he can get rid of the ball fairly quick

Eagle's would still be top of the ladder. Especially if Ben's in and not counting injuries. Juddy's a legend of a player and it wouldn't be the same team without him (he's captain, surely that says a lot), but the boys would do just as well. Especially at the moment, with such great depth in the team. Just look at the occasional game where he's out or really being held out of the game by a great opposition, they still do well. There's so many guys on the team coming into great form at the moment, in that game against Kangaroos the other week i think the most possessions were gotten by Pridda, who'd only played a few AFL games prior to this season.

So while Juddy is a great player, and one of the greatest players on the team, if not in the AFL, the Eagles would still do just as well without him, considering circumstances without injuries etc like at the moment. =)

Judd is vital to West Coast's lineup. He has the ability to break games open more than Cousins does. He's quicker, taller and stronger. Judd is a great leader and continually inspires his teammates. He kicks goals, sets up goals and gets the most centre clearances of anyone in the whole league. He brings in the crowds, he's a good role model for the young guys, he's only 23 and is a premiership captain. Even with Cousins back, West Coast would be half the side that it is today without Juddy.

Hey there conda,i think Judd is a massive part of the west coast team,he's a vital link in the best midfield in the competition and adds the cream to the cake,i still think west coast would be right up there even without him just for the fact they have a lot of hard running and quality players that could cover him,i.e cousins,Kerr,priddas,rossa,Fletcher,etc etc but they probably would have to work a lot harder for their wins.

p.s Chris Judd is definately un-touchable when it comes to the umpires e.g last night against essendon early in the first quarter he took possession of the ball near goal and tried to break through 2 ess players and ended up clearly caught without getting rid of the ball,should have been holding the ball but because it was Judd the ump had a ball up-just one of the many blatant decisions he gets away with.
