So men, you and your Ex had a 1st child together. Now you're separated and Ex is expecting her 2nd child with the new hubby. Being that the baby shower was a surprise and the weekend of the shower lands on the visitation weekend you have your 1st child . What would you do?

MEN/DAD - Would you allow your 1st child attend to this baby shower for their new sibling? Yes or No. Please explain why you think it is important to have the 1st child be part of that and why it's not important.

WOMEN/MOM - If your 1st child missed your surprise baby shower. How would you handle your 1st child knowing it was out of your hands?

PS: This question is for families who celebrate co-ed baby showers. This is not for traditional all Mother's/Females baby shower. TY.

  1. Im not a guy but it is very important celebrating the soon to be birth of your child would be older and know what a baby shower why she/he did'nt have one and blaming you would be the answer so uh' throw it no duh'!

  2. My hubby refused to go.

  3. I would be understanding. It is a simple case of switching weekends. It is important because it would be my child's sibling.

  4. hmm... Well.... I think it would be great to have my child there with me while we celebrate her sibling. But at the same time, spending time with Dad is also very important. So... I think I would be happy no matter what happened. Not only that, but I could always have my child with me, then half way through or when its' over, the father could just come pick her up.. Good Question tho. I'm sure there are a lot of people who go through it.
