How important is following your heart?

I really need to know that you all think

It's important but can sometimes get you into trouble or bad situations... follow your heart, it's important, but don't throw logic completely out the door.

I think overall you should be following your intuition, which can be referenced to as your heart. For example, if you get a bad feeling about a guy or girl you are completely awestruck over because of their looks, following your heart might cause you to go against your intuition and take up someone that might not really be for you.

As far as I know, thinking capability of the Heart is yet unproven, all decision should be made logically, by absolute logic only. But  then it is impossible to analyse all possible scenarios and it would be so heartless. Balance I think is the answer.

Following your heart is very important, if you listen with your heart and let it guide you it can make you feel very happy and value alot of the things you do, it can help you succeed and it can make you fill your life with happiness and love.

You learn to trust your Self by following your intuition. It's the mind you were given from the beginning, but you still need to learn to discern it from the thoughts of the ego.

I have made some bad decisions following my heart versus what I logically knew about another other person. It depends a lot on your mental state and cognitive functions. Some people do better "thinking" with their heart then they do with their brains. Some people think things out too much. Some people can't think. And some people fall in love with everybody.
