How important is high school's name for a college?

ok ive a choice for high school.

one has a high reputation. mainly Karachi Grammar school. many politians and all have studied from there

other is lyceum. it's a new school. few have heard of it but it has excelent teachers and extracurriculars

i wanna got to lyceum but i wanna study abroad. so will my studying in karachi grammar or not affect my getting into a prestigious foreign university?

  1. Unless the high school is in some way affiliated with the university you hope to attend, your performance matters far more than the school you attend.


  2. No, the  high school you attend will not affect you getting into college. I highly recommend, that if you are going to continue communicating in English, take some English classes, and study the language thourghly. ( By the way, American English is the hardest language in the world to learn PROPERLY ) !  We Americans have really screwed up the King's English ! LOL.
