How important is it to like your job?

I am trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I am considering being a lawyer which makes good money and I think I would make a good one but I find it quite boring. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind going into a job related to sports marketing and business and I think I would enjoy this greatly but the salary is not great. Is it better to have a job that you love that makes little money or have a job you don't like very much that makes a lot of money? Thanks!

  1. Your job is your life pretty much ..a lawyer has really long days and if you are not going to enjoy ..why bother??

I would much rather doing something i love and not get as much money, than doing something i hate and getting alot

Sports Marketing and buisness sounds much better ..If your interested in that ..than do it!!

  2. If you love your job, you'll never have to work a day in your life. Alright, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. But is the money really worth it? It certainly wouldn't be to me. Besides, how good a lawyer will you be if you are bored?

  3. It is very important.  All the money in the world isn't worth it if you hate getting up in the morning to go to work.  I have worked at a job I hated, and it was miserable.  Waking up was a drag, getting ready for work was a drag, after work was a drag because I was stressed from my day and I knew I had to go back the next day, sleep was difficult, and the weekends were never long enough.

Trust me on this, find a job you like and you'll never work a day in your life.

  4. IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB. IT COULD MAKE YOU MISERABLE. IT MIGHT LEAD YOU TO DWELL ON THINGS AND CARRY STUFF AROUND ALL THE TIME. YOUR UNHAPPINESS COULD EVEN EFFECT YOUR FAMILY EVEN IF YOUR WELL OFF.
