Guys:

I have used a search engine submission company called submit freaks and I don't see nothing it's doing for my websites, but sending a conformation to my email address that my website info has been submitted to search engines. I thought you suppose to get traffic if your keywords are link right with the search engines. Where can I go to get real results from a search engine submission and also for a reasonable price. Thx fo all answers. God bless, take care.

  1. There is much more to search engine positioning than submissions. You need to optimize your website and work on off site optimization in order to get the rankings for traffic.  There are many, many ways of marketing your website on the internet and you can take advantage of those for a good price if you search...or you can do a little research and do it yourself if you have the time to commit.

  2. Search engine optimization starts when you begin planning your site. The website should have a flat architecture, proper navigation and internal linking, unique text containing all your targeted keywords(so a keyword research is a must) and many other on-site seo adjustments. And after your site is launched you can start the off-site optimization: add the site to directories, get some reciprocal links from related sites, set up a linkbait and submit articles, track the performance of the keywords.

And another important thing is to have patience because usually the results start to see after one, two or three months after the changes have been completed. The reason for that is that the search engines must find your site, must crawl all the pages, must find the links pointing to your site and all these things take a lot of time.

About the search engine submission: actually the major search engines reward a site that has not been submitted but found by them. So if you let these engines find your site you can get more attention from them which means higher rankings.

Submitting the site to a lot of different search engines is a waste of time and money(in my opinion). So be aware of that companies that promise you that they will submit your site to thousands of search engines and directories, or they tell that they will optimize your meta tags and you will rank no. 1. The era of the meta tags are gone, now it takes much more to achieve high rankings.

Hope that this long answer helped avoid companies that claim that they know seo.

  3. Not at all important. make sure you are in the top 3.

    Google

    Yahoo

    MSN

these three own all the other little ones so once you are hear you are eveywhere.

  4. If you have lots of relevant content on your site, and isn't full of broken links and links that lead to dead end sites (that is, sites that don't return google bots to your homepage or another page, or the sitemap).  It also helps to have many links.

You can submit your site to get google bots to crawl your site faster at http://google.com/addurl and a free one way link at http://directorix.net Hope this helps.

  5. It's not.

    You don't.

SEO will get you good rankings, nothing else.  Google will find your website very quickly if you do proper SEO.
