  1. I keep hearing the the Latino vote will decide the race. I do not know if this is true but the republicans have lost much support from the Latin's of America because of their hateful immigration policies.

  2. It is not important at all! Chicano's just do not make enough money to be a real economic power, They do not vote often and when they do they always vote for the fool with Latin sounding name even if he does not have their best interest at heart.

  3. I find it remarkable that people haven't listened to the words coming out of their mouths. If you are angry and wishing all immigrants go home, or think them lazy and illegally using our social services, I have one hope for you people...

"May you one day see the world with compassion and never forget their humanity"

Now, the M-A/L/H/ population has been able to organize into a formidible voting/political/union power. Unionization was a response because Latino/as regularly subject to wage disparity, dreadful working conditions, unpaid overtime, illegally long workdays. Where once there was a fear to speak up and demand safer workplaces, better pay and benefits, there is now a feeling that they need to demand and fight for the basic respectanyone deserves.

I have a feeling that they will have more impact in this election than any past one. Im hoping that a majority votes for the same candidate I am, because if not, they might end up being a new swing vote.

Economically, the contributions made by the latino community (sorry for generalizing) starts with whether they are getting an actual paycheck or working under the table.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF SOMEONE IS WORKING UNDER THE TABLE, THE DECISION WAS MADE BY THE EMPLOYER, NOT THE EMPLOYEES!!

Okay, so the contributions include --paying sales tax, buying big ticket items, cars, homes (and therefore property taxes) which funds schools.

And the last but not least contribution....

    the food!!!

  4. Hispanics make up just 15% of the voting block in the US. While all voters are important, none are more so than the other.

I think the fact that people like yourself are always trying to boast about their perceived 'power' is tacky at best.

America didn't become great by everyone taking cheap shots at one another. If Hispanics are to be valued and admired in the US it will be because of their reputation and not their macho crowing

  5. Only in there dreams. Beside 20 to 30 million illegals are not allowed to vote, because they are not legal citizens. I know some will find a way because they are criminals any way, but it they get caught voting , and not legal they will be in a lot of trouble, so deduct this illegal bunch from the legal citizens, and no, they are not and never will be the power , period.
