I don't think this has ever happened before. They showed all the early rounds live (albeit most of them were on the tennis channel, which you have to order separately because it's not part of regular cable) and now that they've reached the semifinal rounds, probably two of the most anticipated matchups of the tournament federer-monfils and nadal-djokovic, there is no more live coverage. What's going on!?!?

  1. SHAME on you NBC !!! After showing the entire first set, they jump straight to the end of the second set, like it was some cheap first round match !!! SHAME SHAME SHAME

  2. I am shocked and disappointed as I woke up at 5 am to watch the game. They would rather show some stupid college ball game then once-a-year- classic grandslam semifinal, so much for fair play....

Why would someone buy tennis channel if they wont show semis and finals, BTW NBC will show live from 10 am EST, as mentioned in the tennis.com.

Keep in mind for finals also they have an assigned time slot, I am buying online if its federer-nadal!

    Go Federer, NBC/ESPN2/Tennis channel sucks!

  3. I totally agree.  I am following the live scoring on the French Open website.  Why isn't the Tennis Channel or ESPN2 televising it live?  I suspect it is because NBC will be on the air at 10 a.m. and cannot have any competition from other networks.  As an avid tennis fan, you want to know what is happening in real time.  Unfortunately, it ruins watching it on tv since you know the outcome.   Televising it on 3 different channels is not working.

  4. yeah I do not understand this at all. At first I saw the Tennis Channel saying that they would have Live coverage starting at 4pm- I'm like WTF it's gonna be 10pm (I think) in France at that time. I look on the schedule and I didn't even see it on ESPN2. I completely forgot about NBC and see that they are showing are showing the Nadal match now. I'm having to watch the Federer match now online. You can watch it on channelsurfing.net.

  5. On NBC at 10 a.m. they are showing live to 1 p.m.

And from 12 noon to 5 p.m. On Espn 2, they are showing it live. I mean, in the roland garros website, the match already started with Nadal leading 4-3 in the first set with a break.

  6. I know!!! i woke up at 7am expecting to watch Nadal play....It was nowhere to be found...not on nbc, espn 1 or 2 and not even the Freaking Tennis Channel!.....Then at 10 am they show it but its clearly not live...and after the 1st set, they skip ahead to the end of the second set where Nadal was up 5-1....ALL if this by the way was happening while Federer was playing live....But they weren't showing it!!! Soo angry...

  7. US Channels work differently. I believe someone had said it will be on ESPN (2?). Unfortunately I don't have ESPN. They expect u to shell out money for tennis channel and ESPN both :(

    I'm watching online here:
