How in the heck do I add songs to a psp?

Question

So I'm trying to help my little brother add a bunch of music on his psp, and I have no clue how to.

I went to limewire and downloaded a load of songs and then I dragged them on to my itunes list (thinking that maybe a psp runs like a ipod when it comes to music).

But it's not working....

And I have the psp pllugged in on the USB connection under settings...

and nothing seems to work.

1)make sure there is a memory stick in your psp

2)connect the psp to the computer using a usp cable

3)in your psp go to settings and click on usb connection,it should make a sound

4)in your computer click on "my computer"

5)click on "removable disc j" (thats what it says on my computer)

6)click on the psp file.

7)in the psp file make another file called MUSIC.

8)drag songs from itunes and drop them in the music file.

In order to add songs to a psp connect your psp to a usb cable and put your psp in usb mode.

Then go to My Computer.

You should see a device called removable disk

Open that and create a folder called "PSP" without quotes in the removable disk.

Open the PSP folder and create a new folder called "MUSIC" without quotes.

Then open the music folder and you can then create subfolders if you choose. PLace mp3's in this folder.

if u have vista... try going to Windows media player... and hit sync... and it should work...

open the vid or pic or music folder ,in it make a new folder called UPDATE then drag ur pic vid etc into the UPDATE folder .ps: if it works vote my answer as the best answer coz this is the only way that works hope it works

Connect your PSP to the computer with a USB cord. Now, open the PSP file, and open the MUSIC file. If there isn't a MUSIC file, then create a file named "MUSIC." (It has to be in capital letters.)

Now, drop and drag your music into the folder, and you're done!
