  1. Topsecretcarsecret.com has info on how to save thousands when you go to a car dealership.

  2. what ever the price is say it 15k new car have 10or 11 on hand, but first say 10 even 9 or 9,500 ,he will say "ARE YOU CRAZY OR WHAT"? then go $500  more (hopefully there are other dealers there) just say "OK,SORRY I'M GOING NEXT DOOR", shake his hand and say WITH A SMILE "THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP,YOU DID A GOOD JOB" walk to your car, don't look back, point to the other dialer and say (while he is still around) "OH, LOOK AT THAT CAR,IT LOOKS GOOD! 8 OUT 10 TIMES HE WILL MAKE A DEAL WITH YOU ,I KNOW THIS FROM EXPERIENCE,GOD BLESS, I'LL PRAY FOR YOU!

  3. Do your research, be prepared. I shop for used cars based on the wholesale price "black book." This is what the dealer paid to the previous owner when they traded it in. Of course, the dealer is going to warrant the car and has probably put some parts and labor into it. A markup of about $1,000 over black book is reasonable. Shop on the internet , don't be too anxious, and be ready to buy when you find a good deal.

  4. Pick the vehicle you feel that NOBODY would ever want to buy, and hope the dealer agrees with you. Have the market price by checking what prices are  being asked on cars.com, and maybe the dealer will let you "take it off his hands".  Usually works best on a make the dealer took in trade that they don't sell,e.g. chrysler dealer selling a VW.

  5. their only allowed to knock so much off of any price, they have a set amount of profit that they have to make in order to stay in business,so they may not come down as low on price as you would like for them too,all you can do is make them an offer and see if they will take it,it never hurts to try ,good luck with it,they may accept your offer, you never know until you try.
