How in the world do I get raid of that stupid Xp antivirus pop up? ?

get a good antivirus program like norton or macafee and wen you have it installed start your computer in safe mode and do a virus scan

Go to http://www.popup-remover.com

I use that program.It works very well.

Block pop-up ads and remove spyware .

Control Panel

Switch to Classic Mode

Click on Security Center

On the left side, click on "Change The Way Security Center Alerts Me"

Uncheck the Virus Protection Box

Click OK.

Now, go to free.grisoft.com and download their free AV so you're protected.
