How in the world do you become a real secret shopper withought having to pay some rediculouse membership fee?

everytime i look online how to be a secret shopper online i alwayse get some bogus site wanting some money and offering some lame free membership leaving you to need to upgrade to the paying membership to get any info. times are ruff and i think that this would be an awsome side job but cant figure out how to start any info is awsome thanx

  1. I don't think there really is any such thing as a secret shopper. I think the offers to become one are *all* scams.


  2. Secret shoppers exist, but the companies that employ them do NOT advertise on the web.  And they specifically do not ask you to pay anything up front to get "hired" by them.  

    Many businesses use secret shoppers, even the US Postal Service.  All of them are trained, and have specific ways that they are supposed to respond to the clerk or cashier whose register they're at.

    Before you sign up with ANY secret/mystery shopper company, check with the Better Business Bureau in their city.  If the company has a lot of complaints, they're probably a scam.

  3. Do not pay any fees to be a mystery shopping.  Real companies will not ask for any type of fee.

    Second be aware that mystery shopping is not a full-time job.  Stores are only shopped once a month and once you do one you won't do the same store again at least for 3 months (they don't want stores to recognize you).
