  1. not very influential in today's society.

  2. The family -for a person who is a part of it- is the most important influence there is. The first idols and examples a kid has are its parents and older siblings. I am 100% sure that our family , or the people who raise us are the most important influence and play a very important role in forming our future character and attitude towards life

  3. I happen to believe the family is the most influential in all of society.  Think about it, most grew up from childhood to adolescent to young adulthood seeing the interactions between all family members.  Whether it was a positive or a negative experience, the family was extremely influential in what makes us who we are today.

Some will emulate their parents, others swear they will not be like their parents and still others will deny that their parents had no influence in their lives; but you cannot escape the truth that who we are was shaped largely with being part of a family.

  4. The family is the basic unit of society.

  5. Sadly, family is not as influential as it once was. Of course,

family is not what it once was.

We have paid dearly for our "progress".

  6. Family eh? Assuming you are defining a "family" as Mother, Father, and Siblings, then the influence to society is in a downward slide.  The divorce rate is well over 50%, when divorced folks remarry, feel, for some reason I fail to understand, the need to reproduce some more kids.

The daddys already are required by law to pay an average of $500.00 for child support, THEN, they irresponsibly without using reproduction intervention, proceed to make more babies.  So, personally, I donot feel the "family" is  the glue that keeps this wonderful nation as great as it is. What contributes to it ssuccess is the cooperation of 97% of the population of this incredile rich diversity of our nationsal population.  So , I think the value of the "family" is more a negagative than an infuence  for our society.  All I can say is I'm delighted that my three cattiesare a part of our successful nation.
