How install cars to the sims 2 ?

ive downloaded some nice cars but cant insall dem,

ive set dem on documents/ea games/ the sims 2/ downlodes.

but yet i cant use dem !!

i have universety, nightlife, open buisness and pets

please help !

When u downloaded the file, and u put it into the downloads file, did it come up as instead of a file folder, but a little blue star thing? (sorry don't know what it is, just is blue)! IF that is the case, u need to go back into the downloads file for the Sims 2, and double click that little blue icon..it will ask if u want to install it on there, and u click yes and it will automatically install it. This also happens when u download houses too. Hope this helps!
