i ticket means it will be delivered to your house by courier and you can get w/l rac and confirm ticket in this scheme.in i ticket you can book a ticket for  more than 4 days before excluding day of journy

e ticket means only confirm ticket you can get and take a print out  of e ticket. you will need a id card for this.in e. ticket you can book for a train up to 2 hours of journey.
