hits New Orleans and we all know the levees might fail again after 3 years of Bush cronyism that undercut the rebuilding and that's the REAL reason why Bush doesn't want to show up at the convention...HIS CRONYISM is what's going to be responsible for the possible collapsing levees!

St. Paul is offering 5 day leases to retailers hoping that they will fill vacant storefronts so the city doesn't look so bad on national TV. I can already hear the post convention reports about shop keepers who lose everything on a convention that was canceled.

I think this summarizes the 8 years of republican rule perfectly.

Failure on top of failure on top of failure...

  1. What happened to the money that was originally given for those levee's so that a city can continue to exist 16 feet under sea level? I think you are a partisan that does not see his own parties failures. Funny how Naggin now says get out or face the consequences on your own. Get caught looting go to Angola. Bush has his own problems with the handling of NO during Katrina, but so does the Democrat Governor of La. and the Democrat Mayor of NO!

  2. But McCain has so much experience he needs to get the nomination so he can stop future hurricanes.

His only problem is his age:

    John McCain Is So Old....

....the Big Bang woke him up.

....Mike Huckabee doesn't believe in evolution, but John McCain witnessed

    it.

....it takes an archeologist to dig up dirt on him.

....in 1st grade he only had to learn one continent on the flat earth.

....ALL parties were toga parties when he was in school.

....his library card says "Alexandria" on it.

....his copy of the Bible is autographed.

    ....he owes Moses twenty bucks.

....he remembers when Iraq was Mesopotamia.

....Joe Lieberman has to remind him not to refer to Iranians as

    "Proto-Elamites."

....he voted against funding the Pyramids.

....when the walls of Jericho fell down, he blocked legislation to rebuild.

  3. Not ironic at all. The GOP could have held their convention in any city and I'm sure you would find fault with it.

  4. Yes, this conventions are symbolic. Magnificence to Disaster. Wake up people you are getting all kinds of signs!!!!...Also, remember the people who prayed that Obama would get rained out on the night of his speech? Republicans don't get it that "love they neighbor as thyself" means you are your neighbor!!! What you put out in life for others also comes back to you. So whether you believe in prayer or quantum physics. This is a sign of what that energy did. The wanted a disaster & they got it. The dems wanted peace, joy, love, harmony for all & we got it....I had a man who is a vet from the Korean war tell me he was in tears watching the dems convention cause it was just so great. Everyone fell in love with the people their their the Obama girls, Beau Biden, Jill all of them are such lovely people & then an obnoxious beauty queen who is being investigated for abuse of power shows up on the republican front, OMG.

  5. I really don't think that McCain wanted Bush at the convention. I just don't know how he managed to get Gustav to hit at exactly the right time to keep him away.

  6. I think it all summarizes that what goes on in the dark shall come to the light...No one gets away with anything !

  7. New Orleans has been under Democrat control for years. They're the ones who waited too long & didn't evacuate. The governor wanted to wait out the storm for 48 hrs & the mayor didn't want to use buses to get people the h**l out of there. FEMA could only get there after the storm left to help people. And the stories of looting, murder & rape were BS.

Say goodnight Gracie, you lost this arguement.

  8. What? You are insane.

Look at all the money Obama spent on his circus tent and he is as fake as the Greek columns he had his slaves deliver for him...

  9. i'm not voting for obama, period.
