How is Adam Scott the #3 player in the world?

Nothing against him or anything. I think he has an amazing swing and I know he's won a few big tournaments but how does that make him #3?

Ranking are calculated based on tournaments standing.  So he's there as he has more score than no 4.  Simple.

They had a big fist fight behind the club house after midnight one night, and he was the last one standing!  After that, being as he was the winner, he was required to buy everyone else drinks until they felt better!

Can you think of someone more deserving of #3?  The talent is so deep in golf that unless you're name is Woods or Michelson, you're actually rarely in contention for tournament wins.  Scott IS the third best player in the world right now.

look at who is ranked behind him and their records over the past year. He's been very consistent, just having a bad tournament.
