  1. Awesome

  2. Which part do you wish to visit it's a very large country and the weather patterns can and do vary. For instance today in Darwin the temp is 32Degrees Celsius and in Hobart it's only 16Degrees Celsius. In general it is really worth a visit we have a changing scenery from ocean(the great barrier reef) to the desert( ayers rock or uluru) and then there is Tasmania it has some of the most pristine forest's in the country.

Check out these web sites they should give you some idea if it is worth it

  3. Like all other countries in the world of course it varies with different people, but the general stereotype of Australia is that it's very nice, laid back and friendly. I've lived here since I was born, basically, and I've also been to more fast-paced cities like Hong Kong and Los Angeles, and you notice different things like how in Australia people chat to you on the buses and smile at you even if you don't know them.

The weather in Australia is probably one of the best in the world, in winter it can be a little unpredictable in terms of rain and so on, but summer/spring here is so amazing (come between October and December for the best weather!).

Social life would depend on who you meet and who you know but as I said it's a very friendly and laid back country, everyone is very accepting and it's a huge mix of different cultures.

There's lots of sightseeing to do, as you probably know the gorgeous Sydney harbour with the sparkling water and the architecture of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. We also have a lot of great art museums, wharfs, fantastic restaurants, a multicultural aspect (like the Italian village of Leichardt or the Chinese 'Chinatown'), plenty of shopping and heaps more.

If you've ever been to Canada, I always compare Sydney to Vancouver because they are so similar in terms of how nice people are and the sorts of things you can do. The only difference is that Sydney has better weather!

  4. I'm certainly biased, but I do think that Australia has superb natural wonders unlike those in any other part of the world:

    - The colours of Uluru - not just a big rock

    - Catch the stunning life of the Great Barrier Reef before climate change destroys it entirely

    - Gorgeous national parks along the Great Dividing Range for forest lovers

The relaxed, entertaining, friendly and intelligent people will ensure your stay is a pleasure! We have very little crime, pick-pocketing is certainly a rarity, unlike other places you might visit! The nightlife is alive and well in major metropolitan settings, you MUST attend an AFL match, and many tourist resorts mean you won't ever feel like there's nothing social to do.

The weather is comfortable all year round - the winters are incredibly mild (today it's the last day of winter, a balmy 19 degrees C), and while the summers can be a bit stifling up north, the beaches are glorious along the entire east and south-east coast.

    We'd love to have you!

  5. nice is not the appropriate word.

    BEAUTIFUL is.

  6. aus is great. we have open spaces (pretty rare) and the weather is great. apparently the winter here is like the summer in england. lol.

come in around november, this is the end of spring. it gets really hot in summer (dec, jan, feb)  but if u stay for like a month, make sure you stay near a beach toward the end of your trip to get the real beach lifestyle. social life is good theres heaps of things to do... pubs, clubs, shopping, water sports, cruises, everything. one place you have to visit is nambucca heads... about 6 hours from sydney but omg its gorgeous i love that place! i'd live there but theres basically no where to work... have fun!
