  1. idk it kinda seem he was hurt in the midsection area, on the sides

  2. He will be fine. He is sore in the ribs/midsection area, but he is fine, was released from the hospital, and was cleared to resume racing.

  3. Yes, Superdave I quit betting also.....But I just spoke with someone who is at the Glen he has been released, nothing broken, but he is gonna be sore, and he will be even more sore tomorrow he should be fine by Michigan, but he will still be sore. Bobby is in great shape he will be just fine.

  4. ESPN is reporting he was taken to a near by hospital and was treated and released with no injuries. Thank Goodness.

  5. according to http://www.nascar.com/2008/news/headline...

Labonte was taken by ground to a hospital in Elmira, N.Y., according to members of his Petty Enterprises organization. Team vice president Robbie Loomis said the driver was complaining of discomfort in his rib and abdominal area, but did not believe he was seriously hurt.

"They think he's OK," Loomis said after the Centurion Boats at The Glen. "He's a little sore. That was a heck of a wreck."

as an aside: bob dillner of speed tv, as well as the two drivers involved, have all come on and said it was just a racing deal. at first mcdowell supposedly said he might have been a bit too agressive, but gilliland said it was a racing deal. after watching the tape, both agreed it was just an unfortunate racing deal.

  6. One good thing about the COT is that that crash could have been a lot worse and he could have been majorly hurt without the new safety features.  He's ok.

  7. It looked to me like the belts tightened in the wrong area, if you know what I mean.  I heard he was treated and released.

  8. he will be ok
