  1. its like paradise..

i'm working my @ss off right now so i can buy a house there ..

you can buy a 2 bedroom house with a pool for $45,000 out in the country

    good luck

  2. Yes it is a nice place to live, people are good, cost of living is very less. You can get a job according to your qualifications and experience, bit easily. I was there for about 6 weeks, on an assignment, but hardly came across, language problem.

  3. The people of Brazil are some of the most beautiful, friendly people on earth. I've know quite a few. If I could I would move there or Costa Rica.

  4. it's great! it is beautifull. it is always warm and people are happy even if they don't have money in thier pockets. it is pretty cheap. i am moving there.  if you want to you can e-mail any questions at brasilemy@sbcglobal.net

  5. You won't have problem finding a job a an English teacher.  Before it was cheaper, 3 years ago 1 USD = 3.5 Brazilian Real, now 1 USD = 2 Brazilian Real.  Food is very cheap, in Sao Paulo you go to a good churrascaria and you eat as much as you wish and pay around 12 USD, drinks don't count.  Bear is cheap too.  A 600 ml Brazilian bear in a neighberhood bar (lnchonete) costs 3 Reals, in the same place you can eat a dish for just 5 Reals.  Good Brazilian bear in supermarket = 1 Real per can.  Avrage rent in SP in a good place for a 40m² flat is around 500 to 700 USD month.

  6. Well. Brazil is not so too much cheap. LIfe costs are not as low as some answers are saying. Remember that Rio is among the 12 more expensive cities in the world.

Our cheaper car costs about 10,000 dollars and the salaries are between only 190 and 200,000 dollars

  7. There are plenty of jobs in Rio and Sao Paulo...your portuguese will only get better....but like you said..the cost of living is quite low..MEANING..that generally...the wages/salary is not always the highest

u didn't give me enough info about what you do...but finding work will not be that hard...MAKE sure that you have a work visa and hook up with someone...they have what you might call a work journal which is a book that lists the jobs that you have had with the contact info of that job when you try to get another job....keep in mind that you cannot have 2 jobs there..unless 1 job is under the table..

if you get the right job and you have a degree then yeah..it is very profitable...
