  1. Bob and Emo-Hairless Pouzzai Potter are both correct.  I believe global warming warms up the water and this makes the various sea creatures think they are in a different part of the ocean!  The result is fishes swimming under the influence, or an (SUI)!  I know there have been more messed up migrations, unintentional whale beaching, and more hermit crabs in Cabo San Lucas than ever before.

  2. The oceans are turning into a curious mix of chocolate syrup and raspberry parfait.

  3. the sun is melting the polar caps, and then the sunlight is absorbed by the ocean more because the ice is like a mirror that reflects heat and light back out to space, the sea level would then rise and the oceans temp would change, this would then effect the ocean currents which would then effect the gulf stream (wind currents) if this happend western europe could be thrown into another ice age, the US plaines could become a desert and many places such as miami, new york, bangledesh, etc, would be flooded, dry areas would be dryer because of increased evaporation which would make wet areas wetter becuase of the extra mostiture in the air

this is just a big cause and effect thing and can branch out into numerous ways

Follow the link. They are going to fall not rise

  5. I wish you could have been more specific. In general the shallower oceans and the Continental shelf are more susceptible to observation, whether it's warming, pollutants, or developmental impediment/ lack of buffer zones.

  6. They're warming and sea levels are rising, of course.

But it's also making them more acidic, which may be the most serious damage.

  7. As Bob noted, it's making the water more acidic. Why is this a problem? Coral reefs and other small creatures are very sensitive to slight alterations in their habitat. If ocean acidification were to kill them off, one by one, starting with the bottom of the food chain, animals and plants would die.

  8. the water is rising because of the melting ice caps and the oceans also got warmer by 1 degrees but that little change is killing off the coral reefs and is decreasing the jellyfishes hibernation time

  9. The sea levels are rising because the glaciers are melting.

  10. when the glaciers melt the sea level rises amejking the sea higher. therefore all the coasttal land will be underwater with such high sea level

  11. ice caps melt. sea levels rise and low lying islands like  that of the beautiful Maldives have started to erode and dissappear
