How is Iran a threat to Europe?

Where does the logic come in that just because Iran fires missiles, that those missiles are a threat to Europe? Let alone proof that Europe needs a missile defense system against it?

Those missiles are a threat to Israel and to US bases in Saudia Arabia and the Gulf, so why not build the missile defense there instead of in Czech Republic or Poland!?

You are right. Iran is not a threat to Europe, the mssile defence system is really against Russia.America has been trying to weaking Russia from day one.

They have a missile which will reach Europe. And they are developing nuclear weapons for those missiles. And Iran's leaders are wacko. And if Iran nukes Israel, the radioactive fallout will cover Europe.

It' easy to understand if one thinks about the nature of the missile defence system. A missile defence system is the ultimate first strike weapon, because it would be invaluable in shooting down the handful of missiles that would be the retaliation from the recipient of a NATO/USA first strike...be it Iran or Russia. So this missile defence system has little to do with Iran, and everything to do with continued pressure on Russia and the eastward expansion of NATO and the USA.

In other words theirs nothing defencive about it, which is why the Russians are so POed about it.

not really answering the question but have u seen some of the candidates reaction mostly all republicans minus ron paul a couple of monthes back when they were faced with the question if they would go to war with iran??!? they all said yes and for what, a possible threat? iran knows that if it bombs any country that there pretty much gonna go into war with some of the most powerful countries so y we would get involved in something again when were not even out of iraq is beyond me. Even Thomas Jefferson said that we are not  a country of nation builders and that philosophy still applies to today. its not are responsibility to keep all the peace in the world. by doing this, we anger other ppl, who in turn start hating America. we are inflicting pain on are own ppl, by going to war and getting them killed and in the long run, are civilians are getting kill by terrorists and possibly countries that dont like us.  am i the only one that sees this never ending cycle?
