  1. Who knows but i do know there is no thanksgiving in Italy

  2. it's so hard to say. last year was much cooler than this year. my husband and i live just outside of venice and it's still scorching and humid. even when it's warm though they seem to dress conservatively(ie: pants and long sleeve sweaters) which seems really uncomfy... which is why i always look like a tourist. i would wait until a little closer to your trip... enjoy!!

  3. I was there last year and will be again this.... Milan & Venice cool to cold - both humid do dress accordingly. Florence & Rome cool.... florence somewhat more humid than Rome.

Heavy cottens, light wools. Leather gloves, silk scarves for the evening.

  4. It's likely to range from a low of 35 to  a high of 50 degrees F in northern Italy around the end of November. Rome might be about 10 degrees warmer. However, it could be much warmer or colder - it varies quite a bit from year to year. My daughter came to visit a few years ago and we went to Venice for the day on Thanksgiving. There was one of the higher acqua alta events and snow. There is often rain at that time of year.

Basically, you should plan to bring things that you can layer to accomodate variations in temperature and a small umbrella (also easy to pick up here if needed). Check weather.com closer to the time you come to get a better feel for what this year will be like.
