  1. Obama is a radical left-wing liberal.

  2. They are almost identical except that Obama is not willing to come right out and say he is going to put a end to Capitalism...

  3. The way socialism and communism are introduced, is never honestly or objectively. No one would ever choose to allow government to confiscate your earnings to re-distribute to whoever happens to be the minority de jour.

This disease is always introduced by false leaders, who inject class envy, hatred of business and punishment of those are successful (smarter, worked harder, sacrificed more, risked more).

To infect the disease, they must attack the foundation of capitalism- they attack patriotism, attack faith, attack the family, attack business, attack marriage.

If they had their way, all the groups they exploit would be single family parents, in poverty, without hope, without ambition, without belief that they can improve their lives.

Of course, that's why liberals support g*y marriage; it isn't enough to have unions, they must trivialize marriage, to make a mockery of it; the more divorces, and the less respect for the family unit is their goal.

Sadly, many liberals, I mean socialists, whoops.... I mean progressives, have no clue to the path that the Michael Moore type of destruction will lead to.... these progressives knee-jerk react, like puppets, goose-stepping towards a Stalinist nightmare.

Those that would vote for Obama are either lemmings or outright socialists.  The path to h**l is paved with good intentions & an expert con artist like Bill Clinton or Obama, will take you there, if you are simple minded.

  4. Obama is a Democrat and a capitalist- not a Marxist.

    Marxism:

the system of economic and political thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, esp. the doctrine that the state throughout history has been a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class, that class struggle has been the main agency of historical change, and that the capitalist system, containing from the first the seeds of its own decay, will inevitably, after the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat, be superseded by a socialist order and a classless society.

  5. In comparing Marxism to Obamaism one can focus on the similarities or the differences – on which one is better or which one is worse.  It’s kind of like playing “Christian” in ancient Rome and comparing a lion to a tiger before choosing which one to fight.  The lion has a mane; the tiger does not.  The tiger has stripes; the lion does not.  But either one can kill you, and either one of them will.

“Marxism is a political philosophy….”  Marxism is a “philosophy” until it becomes a reality.  Ask the ghosts of Russia’s Czar Nicholas II and his family about that “philosophy.”  And ask why the advent of Marxism in many countries has so often necessitated killing or imprisoning the former leaders and many of the “workers” who failed to show immediate acceptance of the new leadership and the new system that had bestowed a “worker’s paradise” upon them.  Who would refuse an opportunity to live and work in “paradise?”

Marxism in action is an example of liberal idealism run amok.  The theory does not translate into reality.

The Constitution of the United States is highly regarded around the world, particularly among newly independent and liberated countries.  It is so highly regarded that it often serves as a model for their own constitutions.  Some new countries have adopted our constitution almost word for word – and have “readopted” it 10 or 15 times.

Those who subscribe to the Marxist ideal should ask themselves why its adoption is so often kept a secret until after the fact.  Why is “freedom” so objectionable that it must often be imposed and maintained by force?  Why did so many of those who hailed Fidel Castro as “The George Washington of the Caribbean” end up in prisons or in graves?

Does our Globalist presidential candidate have a “secret” he wants to share with us – but only AFTER the election?  My bet is that he does.  My vote will hopefully ensure that he doesn’t have an opportunity to reveal it to us until AFTER the election.

  6. Marxism is a political philosophy devoted to the enslavement and eventual destruction of a society by depriving its people of the fruit of their labor and the means of future production.  By continuously providing negative feedback for every positive behavior the society is reduced to a psychological state of hopelessness and despair whereby people engage in pathological self-destructive behavior and eventually give up on life.  After the society crashes gangsters and petty bureaucrats are all that are left.  Men drink and drug themselves into an early grave and women forgo childbearing, eventually bringing on a demographic decline.  Kind of like what has happened to Russia.

Obama is completely different.  Whereas Marx wished that disaster on Europe, Obama wants that here in America

  7. Marxism was developed and named after Karl Marx.

Obama follows "Obamaist Liberalism" -- his version of socialist policies.

Other than that, they are identical.  Government control of everything; redistributionist policies; take from the rich, give to the poor; do as I say, not as I do; . . .

  8. We think of socialists as opposing capitalist excess, disparaging the mass availability of goods and services, and seeking to restrict freedom to produce and enjoy wealth.

Consider, for instance, the wrath socialists feel toward fast food, Walmart, and specialty financial services for the poor.

They accuse the mass consumer market of institutionalizing false needs, commodifying the commons, glorifying the banal, homogenizing culture.--all at the expense of the environment and of equality of condition, the highest socialist goal.

Improving the standard of living in society is far down the list of socialistic priorities.

Read between the lines and you will see Obamas plan is to punish achievement, and destroy the capitalism that made this country great!

    Edit:  Thanks Dawg!  :)

  9. Pure socialism would ensure a classless society in which nobody would be motivated for betterment. Obama's ideal structure would have an elite class (the one that he belongs to) and the rest of us would be nothing more than cogs, supporting the elite class.

Marx knew that a utopian society is simply impossible, yet he expanded the theory knowing all well that a ruling class would surely exist. That sounds a little like Obama, ya think?

  10. Most people in the US are intelligent enough to understand why Marxism won't work.  However, for some odd reason, a lot of people seem to think that Obama's version of Marxism will make a positive "change."

  11. They are the same; Obama and his brain-dead robots want everyone to be in a state of equal misery. Obama and his chosen elite, of course, will continiue to live in luxury.

  12. You will have to do some long and heavy reading to uncover this one.  Marx was quite a writer and Marxism is too cpmplex to offer real comaprisons in this forum.  Karl Marx wrote primarily about class struggle in Russia against a very dominant and "Divine Right" monarchy.  This is quite far from anything in Obama's plans.

  13. Marxism no longer has much relevance for America. Marxism deals with Capitalism and Karl Marx was emphatic that it takes a graduated income tax to keep money in circulation. Otherwise money would just rot in a rich cat's money box.

Current events circumvent all of Marx's theories. Bush was able to offshore debt on his own authority. The magnitude of borrowing is 18x Reaganomics. Since it was paranoia that acquired this activity, Bush should have taxed the people to pay for Cowboy Diplomacy. If the people wanted Cowboy Diplomacy, they would have gladly accepted 40-65% tax rates.

Bushonomics have diminished America on the world stage, gutted our military manufacturing capabilities and are a blueprint for Asian ascension. This is not Marxism, this is Voodoo Economics. Dubya's daddy is still with us.

I expect Obama's advisory team to allow hyper-inflation to keep those with inherited wealth reasonably happy.
